Meet Gerri!! (@missmetal917)⬇️⬇️

Gerri

▪️Gerri has been incredibly passionate about all things artistic and handcrafted, for her entire life. Drawing, painting and sculpting took up the entirety of her free time, until she turned 18 and had to decide what she wanted to spend the rest of her life doing.

▫️Gerri was referred by her local community college to look into their welding program, to see if it was something that she would interested in. She fell in love the moment she struck her first arc.

▪️Welding was not only something that could support her and her other interests financially, but it was also a unique and impressive skill to obtain. From that moment on, she knew she had chosen her path.

▫️Gerri spent the next year in trade school learning about machines, studying blueprints, and of course playing with a pool of molten metal.

▪️Two weeks after she graduated, she landed her first job! It provided her with the experience she needed and led her to her current position as a Military Certified Welder!

▫️ @missmetal917 Thank you so much for sharing your incredible journey with me! I absolutely love your story and I’m so honoured to tell it!
